This architecture highlights the design considerations for a project that aims to respond to the surrounding
site and urban context. The main focal points are the views of the mountain and the bush to the northwest,
and the sidewalk and park to the northeast. The design takes into account the extension of the park
into the project’s landscape by incorporating similar trees and allowing for a relationship between the
public space and sidewalk. On the second floor, the user experiences a framed view of the park and
mountain. The house is designed with a private courtyard that creates a connection between the interior
and exterior spaces and allows the user to experience the life of the trees. The courtyard also has an
irrigation system that drains rainwater during the monsoon season and emphasizes the theme of living.
